Stony Creek Preserve

Description

This short trail loops through a peaceful mix of open fields, quiet forest, and tidal marsh views just outside the village of Stony Creek. Along the way, hikers pass remnants of old stone walls and granite outcrops from 19th-century quarrying activity. The preserve offers a unique blend of natural beauty and subtle history, with views of the nearby creek and the surrounding wetland habitat. It’s a quiet and scenic spot not far from the shore, ideal for a casual walk or birdwatching.
