East River Woodlands

Description

The trails wind through a mix of deciduous forests, featuring notable landmarks such as a historic stone wall believed to have been constructed in the mid-1700s. Hikers can enjoy scenic viewpoints, particularly during winter months when views of Legend Hill and the surrounding valley are more visible.

Difficulty

The trails are very flat throughout, with only a few small inclines. Everything was very well cleared, and mostly free from roots and rocks. The trail can get pretty muddy in certain areas after rain.
